It's about 164km from Mumbai Airport to Pune Airport or a 3 hour drive, and unless you're flying into Mumbai this is the best way of travelling to Pune. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway is a tolled concrete road with 6 lanes. You'll drive through the Sahyadri mountain range, on the way you pass Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Kolkhe, Rasayani, Khalapur, Khopoli, Lonavala, Khadkale, Vadgaon, Talwade, Chincholi and Pimpri Chinchwad.
